I joined Hinks in 1999 in a new role of Sales & Marketing, with a training background soon added to my role of implementing Investors In People. This very quickly extended to dealing with compliance. My current role is Operations Director - my day usually starts at 6.30 and before I know it, it’s time to go home! I have a son who is currently in his 2nd year at Newcastle University studying Bio Chemistry and is looking to end up in the medical profession. When I am away from the office I have a hectic social life, from the daily visits to the gym, swimming, dance classes (making a total fool of myself)! badminton and squash. Socialising with friends and trying as many risky activities as I dare!

I started working at Hinks in April 2018 as a Commercial Account Handler. My role involves looking after my clients by servicing their policies, arranging renewals and dealing with general queries. I am currently working towards my Diploma in insurance which I hope to complete within the next 2 years. When I’m not at work I enjoy practicing Yoga and taking part in a tap dancing class where there is generally more laughter than tapping!
